HomeMy Public PortalAbout020-2006 - Petition to Rezone to Special Use.dAMENDED ORDINANCE 20-2006 A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP FOR A CERTAIN PARCEL FROM R-2 TO AN R-2 SPECIAL USE DISTRICT WHEREAS, The Zoning Map designates certain property commonly known as 1605 Chester Boulevard as R-2 generally located on real estate legally described as follows, to -wit: See attached Exhibit "A" WHEREAS, it is desirable to change the above described real estate's zoning designation to a R-2 Special Use District in order to allow the owner to develop an insurance office from this location with the following stipulations: 1. The site plan submitted is to be completed within 90 days of approval by city council, 2. The sign shall be unlit and landscaped as a monument sign set back far enough for clear site distance, and 3. The four new parking spaces at the rear of the property direct water onto the site of the former garage, not onto 1607 Chester Boulevard. Also made a part of this Ordinance is Exhibit `B" - the Common Driveway Agreement between Angela Burke, David and Debra Lahman dated March 20, 2006. NOW THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that the zoning designation for the property described in Exhibit "A" is changed to R- 2, Special Use District. Passed and Adopted this 3rd day of April, 2006, by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana.
