A meeting of the Town Commission of the Town of Gulf Stream Florida, was held at the Town Hall with Commissioners, L. 3eton Lindsay, S. B. Iglehart and Wm.J. Bauer present. Officer E. W. Cooper made a report in Zeneral. Town Clerk Bauer reported that individual readin,s for water for the month of June amounted to 1,210,000 gallons sold whereas the Gulf Stream Golf Club master meter reported 1,3$6,200 gallons. The differnece was explained and accounted for in the fattthat hydrants had been flushed thoroughly. The minutes of the last meeting held on June llth,1951 were read and approved. The Commissioners approved the payment of the following checks: #$09 W.J.OTBrien refund of overpayment on water bills 43.20 $10 R.Pollack salary 50.00 811 R.Pollack ?T 50.00 812 H.1.Purdom second Quarter salary maintenace 50.00 813 A.L.Pollack salary 50.00 The bank balance after the above checks had been paid was reported as 0861.95 Ordinance #101 amending section 5 Height of Buildings of the zoning ordinance- was read for the second time but inasmuch as 30 days had not expired since the adjourned meeting held on June 25th, it was voted to lay same on the table and that it be read at the next regular meeting scheduled for August 13th. A discussion was held on signs posted throughjout the Town, Particularly a sign of Henry V.Pope on corner of AlA and Golf View Road and- of signs put up by Faye & Ted Johnson and it was decided to take up the matter with the individuals above referred to and request that said signs be removed. It was decided that while a quorum of the Commissioners,were present, not to pass any ordinance at this time on the subject of signs but to bring the matter up for a full discussion at an early meeting in the fall when the full coundil is in attendance.
