CALL TO ORDER

The September 15, 2006, "Brown Bag" Work Session was convened at 12:05 P.M. by
President Pro Tempore Brian Crane in the absence of Mayor John Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Brown, Crane, Harvey, Layton, Martin, Pope, and Vogel
Absent: Berry and Oetting
A quorum was present.

OSED SESSION
Councilman Brian Crane announced that the Council will go into an emergency closed
session following this meeting to discuss legal actions which were just brought to the
attention of the City this morning.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Consent Agenda:
Change Order #3 with Lehman Construction for 2006 Sanitary Sewer Repairs: Councilman
Kevin Brown asked for information regarding the Renns Lake dredging that cost more than
the city had estimated. City Administrator Steve Rasmussen stated he will get a report to
the Council today so that the Council will have it before the vote on Monday night.
The City Clerk was asked to add Personnel to the closed session for Monday night's
meeting.

President Pro Tempore Brian Crane stated that, Pursuant to Sec. 610.021 of the Revised
Statutes of Missouri, the Chair would entertain a motion to go into Closed Session to
discuss the following:
a. Legal Actions [Sec. 610.021.(1)]
A motion was made by Councilman Edith Vogel to go into Closed Session, seconded by
Councilman Bryan Pope, and approved unanimously by the following roll -call vote at 12:20
P.M.•
