NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Brewster Planning Board will hold a public hearing on WEDNESDAY, April 24, 2019, beginning at
7 : 00 pm in the Brewster Town Office Building at 2198 Main Street, Brewster, MA . The following will be
heard :
Proposed Special Town Meeting Article . The Public Hearing will be held for consideration of a Zoning
Bylaw amendment brought forward by Citizens Petition as one ( 1 ) Article on the Town of Brewster' s
Special Town Meeting Warrant. The proposed Zoning Bylaw amendment is as follows :
ARTICLE NO . M - Zoning Amendment
To see if the Town will vote to amend Section 179 - 11 of the Brewster Code (Zoning By-law), table of use
regulations, by deleting the current Table of Use Regulations relating to Marijuana Cultivators, Marijuana
Product Manufacturer, Independent Testing Laboratories, Marijuana Retailers, Any Other Licensed
Recreational Marijuana Establishments, and Medical Marijuana Dispensaries (MMD) and replacing it
with the following Table of Uses, or to take any other action relative thereto :

The intention of this Article is to leave the present zoning for Medical Marijuana Dispensaries unchanged,
to remove Marijuana Product Manufacturer, Independent Testing Laboratories, Marijuana Retailer and
Any Other Licensed Recreational Marijuana Establishment as allowed uses, and to limit Marijuana
Cultivator to the Industrial Zone, thereby limiting licensed marijuana establishments in Brewster to those
reasonably associated with the growing of marijuana products, within the Industrial Zone, and to Medical
Marijuana Dispensaries .
Copies of the proposed amendment are available for viewing with the Town Clerk and in the
Planning Department at Torvn Hall Monday - Friday between the hours of 8: 30 am and 4: 00
