The meeting of the Town Commissioners of the Town of Gulf Stream, was
held on Monday, August 13, 1951, at 9:00 AM, at the Town Hall.
Present were, Mayor Commissioner L. Seton Lindsay, Commissioner Stewart
B. Iglehart, and Town Clerk Commissioner 16m. J. Bauer.
Police Chief E. W. Cooper reported that during the vacation of Officer
Robert L. Pollack, who also serves as garbage collector, he drove the
garbage truck and found that the time consumed in collecting all the
garbage, dumping, and returning to the shed, was 1 hour and 35 minutes.
Mayor Lindsay confirmed this by stating that he had ridden to the dumping
ground and buck. Officer Cooper was then dismissed.
The minutes of the meeting of July 9, 1951 were read and approved. .
The attached list of bills were read and approved, checks #$14 -$40 inclusiv
Town Clerk Bauer reported the bank balance as $2,799.14, after the
foregoing bills were paid.

Ordinance #104, ttpn ordinance by the Town Commission of the Town of
Gulf Stream, Florida, amending "Section 5 - Height of
Buildings", of the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Gulf
Stream, Florida, so as to provide that no building shall
h be erected in excess of forty -five feet (451) in height
and two stories in height, within the apartment house
district in the Town of Gulf Stream, Florida, and
repealing all conflicting ordinances or parts of
ordinances.1t was read again , passed and adopted.
Upon motion duly made and seconded, the following ordinance 1J105, was
introduced and read in full:

SUB *PARAGRAPHS (1) and (2) THEREOF, OF THE ZONING ORD*
INANCE OF THE TOWN OF GULF STREAM, FLORIDA DULY ENACTED
ON 1946; PROVIDING ?,:THEN THIS
OR_NANCE SHALL TAKE EFFECT; AND PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL
OF ALL CONFLICTING ORDINAN CES'OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES.11
Said Ordinance was approved as read for the first reading, then ordered
laid on the table for second reading after thirty days have expired, at
which time it will be read for the second time.
