CALL TO ORDER

The Council "Pre- Meeting" Work Session of October 2, 2006, was convened at 5:50 P.M. by
Mayor John Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
following Council Members were present:
Present: Berry, Brown, Crane, Ferguson, Harvey, Layton, Oetting, Pope, and
Vogel
Absent: None
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGEN
Bills Introduced:
DA ITEMS
Human Resources Director Gail Strope was asked to introduce all five of her items, Consent
Agenda, and Bills Introduced, at the same time to help the meeting move a little quicker
tonight. Councilman Bryan Pope stated he will need to abstain on item (d) of the Consent
Agenda dealing with Blue Cross Blue Shield.
Bills Pending:
2006 -61 - Councilman Kevin Brown asked if City Counselor Nathan Nickolaus had been able
to amend this bill to include language about the windshield wipers as discussed at Friday's
Brown Bag meeting. City Counselor Nathan Nickolaus stated he had researched the matter,
and that it would not be possible to add that language to this bill because of the bill's title. He
recommended introducing a second bill which would accomplish Councilman Brown's request.
The meeting adjourned at 6:00 P.M.
