Mayor called the meeting to order, and the minutes of the last meeting were read, and on motion by Okones second. by Heddens anDroved as read- motion carried.. A petition , ask'ing the council to investigae the cost of a public Water softener was presented the col,ncil, which was received and ordered placed on file. A motion was made by Heddens second by Hook that the Clerk write for information regarding water- softeners. The Treasurers report was received, read, and ordered placed on file. The following bills were presented, read and on motion by Okones second by Boeke they be al'owed. A Special Meeting. Tdayor Vahlsing calleda special meeting of the Council, members n_resent, Heddens, H^ok and Okones. The purpose of the meeting was the considering_ of adopting a Resolution for Blechi topping the Streets. Engineer Graham was present axa had a plat and schedule prepared as previously arranged by the council. The plat and schedule was gone over with. the Engineer, and after due consideration, it was moved by Heddens, second by Hook that the proposed Resolution of Necessity, for Black topping streets be adppted., and that the Clerk publish a notice thereof, and that a hearing be held on June 16th for final action thereon. Motion Roll Call- Wyes- He ddens- Hook- Okones Nays none- absent Boeke and Junker. Mayor declared motion carried. There being no further busines council adjourned. & 1 erk Mayo , r.
