CALL TO ORDER

The Council "Pre- Meeting" Work Session of October 16, 2006, was convened at 5:50 P.M. by
Mayor John Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present:
Present: Berry, Brown, Crane, Ferguson, Harvey, Layton, Oetting, Pope, and
Vogel
Absent: None
quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGEN
DA ITEMS
Presentations from the Gallery:
Mayor John Landwehr explained he would like to begin asking at the beginning of each
meeting for anyone who planned to make a presentation from the gallery to let him know before
the meeting starts so he can put their name on the list. This will serve to eliminate the
spontaneous requests to make presentations while Council meetings are already in progress.
Consent Agenda:
Mayor John Landwehr would like to defer item (g) pertaining to the CVB budget for two weeks
and place it on the November 6 agenda to allow time for the Council to review it.
Councilman Brian Crane stated he will have some questions about item (j) pertaining to the
hangar lease renewal with Stanley Merhoff.
Bills Pending:
2006 -71 - Councilman Kenneth Ferguson stated this will be placed on the Informal Calendar.
City Counselor Nathan Nickolaus distributed a substitute to bill 2006 -86 and a substitute bill
summary for bill 2006 -52.
