SUBJECT: TRANSPORTATION AND PUBLIC SAFETY COMMISSION ACTIONS -
MEETING OF MAY 8, 2019
RECOMMENDATION:
The City Council is requested to receive and file the Transportation and Public Safety
Commission (Commission) actions from their regular meeting of May 8, 2019.
BACKGROUND:
On May 8, 2019 the Commission held their regularly scheduled meeting.
ANALYSIS:
The following is a summary of actions taken at the May 8, 2019 meeting:
1. ROLL CALL
Present: Commissioner-Blatt, Palmieri, Nimri, Clift
Absent: Commissioner-None
Excused: Commissioner-None
2. CONSENT CALENDAR
The Commission approved the minutes of the March 13, 2019 meeting.

3. PARKING CITATION HEARINGS
The Commission held three hearings in person. Two citations were upheld and one
was continued to the next regular Transportation and Public Safety Commission
Meeting.
The Commission held three hearings by written declaration. Three citations were
upheld.
CITY STRATEGIC GOALS:
Reviewing the Transportation and Public Safety Commission Actions furthers the City's
Strategic Goal of Citizen Education and Communication.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This item does not have an impact on the Fiscal Year 2018-19 City Budget.
