Mayor Nanette Fish cal led the Special Meeting to order at 7:00a.m . in the City Hall
Commun ity Room lo c ated at 9701 Las Tunas Dri ve , T emple City .

Mayor Fish .
Jerry Jambazian , Temple City Resident, expressed that he is pleased about the
reduct ion of crimes reported on the crime blotter and Deputy Englen 's enforcement
on Las Tunas Dr. He also commented on Assembly Bill158 .

A. QUA LITY OF LIFE
Deputy Chico gave an overview of th e sex offender registrants , parolees , and
probationers in the City .

Deputy Chico provided an update regardi ng arrests and operat ions in the

Deputy Chico provided an overview of crime trends 1n neighboring cities
affecting Temple City.
D. NOTABLE ARRESTS
Deputy Chico provided an overview of notable arrests made in the City .
E. TRAFFIC ISSUES
Deputy Chico provided an overview of traffic issues in the City.
Mayor Pro Tem Chavez asked if staff and deputies have received any
comp laints regarding speeding Amazon vans . Staff responded and informed
City Counci l that Deputy Englen has been monitoring and enforcing .
F. CRIME AND TRAFFIC STATISTICS
Deputy Chico provided an overview of the crime and traffic statistics.
G . SPECIAL ASSIGNMENT TEAM ACTIVITIES
Deputy Chico provided an update on the specia l assignment team activities .
H. PUBLIC OUTREACH I EVENTS
Deputy Chico reported on the public outreach conducted by the special
assignment team .
I. UPCOMING EVENTS FOR JULY 2019
Deputy Chico announced upcommg meetings and events that will be
conducted in the City .
Captain Flores introduced the new Operations Lieutenant Frank Ruiz and his
special guest Todd Rigby , Mayor of Eastvale. Captain Flores informed City
Council and staff of their new mandarin speaking deputy that has been
assigned to the night shift and thanked City Council and staff for assisting
with the fundra iser for Deputy Solano , stating that they have raised over
$28 ,000 .00 . Captain Flores provided the State of the Station Update.
