Tht; n;eeting of the Town Commissioners of the Towin qtf Gulf Stream, was
held on Monday, Feb. 12, 1951, at 9;00 AM, at the Town Hall.
Present were I�ir. L. Seton Lindsay, Mayor; Mr.' William T. Jebb, Vice -Mayor
and 1-jr. ?:m. J. Bauer, Town Clerk and Tax Collector.
The minutes of the meeting held on Jan. 8, 1951, were read and approved.
Cffl.cer Cooper reported on condition of the roads. He also reported
a leaking fire hydrant on South end of Town. Efforts are being made
to have it fixed promptly.
The Town Clerk reported that the rater meter readings were as follows;

The Commissioners approved the pa yi.ient of the attached list of bills.
The bank balance as of Feb. 5, 1951, was reported as ay$,468.09.
Before presenting the followinc Resolution (regarding increasing the
Commission to 5), the ,,,ayor reported that he had interviewed per-
sonally, or talked to over the telephone, almost the entire list
of registered voters, all of whom heirtily approved the Town Conncil
passin the Resolution attached.
A letter from the Florida State Board of Health, regarding residents
hooking their own water systems to the Torn system, was read and
discussed. Residents will be notified to comply with the requirements
set forth therein.
The question of the final approval of the wtge increase for Robert T.
Pollack, from ;x.00, to „1.25, an hour was discussed. Inasmuch as the -
advance had been agreed to sometime a6o, the Council decided to put it
into effect commencing February 1, 1951.
.. motion was made and carried to hire ?;hitt McDowell, to service the
Police radio. There will he one regular inspection a month and he
will be subject to call for repair of any ureakdown. The rate will be
+x'10.00 per month per unit, and 30; discount on parts.
Il Ordinance no. to 3 ,"making it unlawful for any person to drive or
operate any commercia passenger bus, sight - seeing,' bus, or any heavy
commercial truck orother vehicle having a capacity of one and one -half
tons or more, in, upon or along State Road AlA, commonly known as the
Ocean Boulevard, in the Town of Gulf itream, and providing for certain
exceptions; and providing penalties for the violation of this ordinance
shall become effective immediately upon its passage.« was read for the
second time, passed and adopted, without amendments.
There being no further business, the meeting w,,s adjourned.
