SUBJECT: PLANNING COMMISSION ACTIONS -MEETING OF JUNE 25,2019
RECOMMENDATION:
The City Council is requested to receive and file the Planning Commission
(Commission) actions from their meeting of June 25, 2019 .
BACKGROUND :
On June 25, 2019, the Commission held their regularly scheduled meeting .
ANALYSIS:
The following is a summary of actions taken at the June 25, 2019, meeting:
1. ROLL CALL:
Present: Commissioner-Cordes, Haddad , Marston, Chair O'Leary
Absent: Commissioner-None
Excused: Commissioner -Vice-Chair Lee
2. CONSENT CALENDAR
The Commission approved the minutes from their regular meeting of June 11,
2019 and asked staff to make a minor correction.

3. PUBLIC HEARING
A. PL 18-1198: COMPREHENSIVE ZONING CODE UPDATE
DESCRIPTION: Zoning Code Update.
ACTION: The Commission approved a motion to adopt the resolution
recommending that the City Council adopt an addendum to the Temple City
General Plan Update (EIR), add items 4 b-e on the front page of the staff
report.

6. COMMUNICATIONS-None
7. UPDATE FROM THE PLANNING MANAGER
Planning Manager Reimers announced that there will not be a meeting on the first
meeting of July due to lack of quorum. He also thanked Commissioner Marston for
her service on the Planning Commission.
8. ADJOURNMENT
The Commission meeting was adjourned at 8:02 p.m.
CITY STRATEGIC GOALS:
Reviewing the Commission actions of June 25, 2019, furthers the City's Strategic Goals
of Citizen Education and Communication.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This item does not have an impact on the Fiscal Year 2019-20 City Budget.
