TO REQUEST FUNDING FOR THE WASHINGTON AVENUE BUSINESS
DISTRICT REVITALIZATION
\VHEREAS, the Borough of Cartel'et, Middlesex County seeks to revitalize the
doxxnto~n business areas as a means to increasc their economic viability by providing
strcetscapc improvements; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that thc Mayor and Council of thc Borough
of Cartcret hereby authorizes the Director of Community Development to seek funding
from the Middlesex County Downtown and Business District Improvement Fund that
would facilitate the economic growth and revitalization of the Washington Avenue
Business District.
