CALL TO ORDER

The Council "Pre- Meeting" Work Session of December 4, 2006, was convened at 5:50 P.M.
by Mayor John Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present:
Present: *Berry (arrived at 5:55 P.M.), Brown, Crane, Ferguson, Harvey, Klindt,
Layton, Oetting, Pope, and Vogel
Absent: None
quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGEN
DA ITEMS
Appointments:
Mayor John Landwehr stated he plans to appoint Cotton Walker as the Interim Municipal Judge
at the suggestion of Marshall Wilson, candidate for election to that office in April.
Upcoming Meetings:
City Administrator Steve Rasmussen asked if the Council wanted to put the Council Retreat
and Neighborhood Improvements on the agenda for the December 11 Work Session. They
indicated they would like that added.
Bills:
2006 -101 - Councilman Kevin Brown stated he will place this on the Informal Calendar
*Councilman Michael Berry arrived at this point in the meeting
2006 -83 - Councilman Brian Crane stated he plans to withdraw this and has a resolution to
introduce in lieu of it.

Unfinished Business:
Mayor John Landwehr stated he is going to recommend that Steve Picker, Interim Director of
the Convention and Visitors Bureau, serve on the Conference Center Committee. He stated
the CVB has agreed to allow Steve to serve.
