SUBJECT: PLANNING COMMISSION ACTIONS-MEETING OF JULY 23,2019
RECOMMENDATION:
The City Counc il is requested to receive and file the Planning Comm iss ion
(Commission) actions from their meeting of July 23 , 2019 .
BACKGROUND:
On July 23 , 2019 , the Commission held their regularly scheduled meeting .
ANALYSIS :
The follow ing is a summary of actions taken at the July 23 , 201 9 , meeting :
1. ROLL CALL:
Present: Commissioner-Cordes , Guan , Haddad , Vice-Cha ir Lee , Cha ir
O 'Leary
Absent: Commissioner -None
Excused : Commissioner -None
2. CONSENT CALENDAR
The Commission approved the minutes from their regular meeting of June 25 ,
2019 .

3 . PUBLIC HEARING
A. PL 18-1405 : 5718 TEMPLE CITY BLVD .
DESCRIPTION : A request for the review and approval of Tentative Parcel
Map No . 082644 and a major site plan review for a multi-family res ident ial
condominium consisting of four attached , two-story units .
ACTION : The Commission voted 5-0 to approve f i le PL 18 -1405 and adopt
the resolution finding that the project is exempt from CEQA , subject to the
recommended conditions of approval.

7 . UPDATE FROM THE PLANNING MANAGER
Planning Manager Re imers apologized to the Commiss ion for not being ab le to
have the re-organization in July. He gave an update of the City Coun cil discussion
in regards to the Zoning Code Update that happened on July 9 th. The City Council
asked for more feedback related to front of the lot floo r area ratio , building height ,
rear and front setback incentives and the multi -family zones .

The Commission meeting was adjourned at 8 :11 p .m .

Reviewing the Commission actions of July 23 , 2019 , furthers the City 's Strategic Goals
of Citizen Education and Communication .

This item does not have an impact on the Fiscal Year 2019 -20 City Budget.
