CALL TO ORDER

The Council "Pre- Meeting" Work Session of December 18, 2006, was convened at 5:45 P.M.
by Mayor John Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present:
Present: Berry, Brown (arrived at 5:55 P.M.), Crane, Ferguson (arrived at 5:53
P.M.), Harvey, Klindt, Layton, Oetting, Pope, and Vogel
Absent: None
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGEN
DA ITEMS
Appointments:
Mayor John Landwehr mentioned the addition of item 10(c) under appointments, and explained
the reason he felt it would be good for the city to appoint members of the Storm Water Code
Users Group.
2006 -107 - Councilman Brian Crane mentioned a discrepancy in this bill regarding the
allowance or disallowance of logos on the signs.
2006 -117 - City Counselor Nathan Nickolaus distributed a Substitute bill and explained the
change made which corrects an error in the previous bill.
2006 -108 - This will be placed on the Informal Calendar to allow time for the public comment
period.
2006 -106 - Councilman Mike Harvey stated that he may place Bill 2006 -106 on the Informal
Calendar, depending upon the discussion which takes place tonight. He said he wants to allow
ample time for both Council and public input in the matter.

2006 -110 - City Counselor Nathan Nickolaus distributed an amendment and explained that the
title of the original bill contained an error.
Mayor John Landwehr stated he has asked Councilman Brian Crane to provide a status report
on the Conference Center Committee's work.
