CALL TO ORDER

The Council "Pre- Meeting" Work Session of January 2, 2007, was convened at 5:45 P.M. by
Mayor John Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present:
Present: Berry (arrived at 5:50 PM), Brown, Crane, Harvey, Klindt, Layton,
Oetting, Pope (arrived at 5:53 PM), and Vogel
Absent: Ferguson
quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGEN
DA ITEMS
UPCOMING MEETINGS AND EVENTS:
City Engineer Matt Morasch announced that a Storm Water public forum will be held on
January 9. Councilmen Harvey and Klindt stated they will be placing Bill 2006 -114 on the
Informal Calendar until after that public forum.
*Councilman Michael Berry arrived at this point in the meeting
MISCELLANEOUS AGENDA ITEMS
City Administrator Steve Rasmussen announced that Cotton Walker, the newly appointed
Interim Municipal Judge needs to begin tomorrow and needs to be sworn in to be able to do
that. He stated he has invited Mr. Walker to come to the meeting tonight and receive the oath
of office under Miscellaneous Agenda items.
*Councilman Bryan Pope arrived at this point in the meeting
BILLS:
2006 -116 - Councilman Brian Crane stated that he plans to vote on this bill tonight.

2006 -106 - Councilman Mike Harvey stated this will be voted on tonight.
2006 -107 - Carrie Carroll will be at the meeting to answer any questions, but does not plan to
make a formal presentation.
