AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL,
ACCEPTANCE, AND APPROPRIATION OF A GRANT FROM
THE WHITEWATER VALLEY REMC
WHEREAS, The Whitewater Valley REMC has grant funding available; and
WHEREAS, the City of Richmond Parks Department desires to submit a grant application to
assist with the costs associated to run the Nature Camp summer program; and
WHEREAS, no local match is required for this grant.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, as follows:
1. The City of Richmond Parks Department is hereby authorized to submit a grant
application to the Whitewater Valley REMC to assist with the costs associated to run the Nature
Camp.
2. The City of Richmond Parks Department is authorized to accept said grant funding in
an amount up to Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($2,500.00).
3. Said funds, if awarded to the City of Richmond, shall be appropriated to assist with the
costs associated to run the Nature Camp summer program.
Passed and adopted this _20th day of _March 2006 by the Common Council of the City of
Richmond, Indiana.
