CALL TO ORDER

The March 16, 2007, "Brown Bag" Work Session was convened at 12:12 P.M. by Mayor
John Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present:
Present: Crane, Ferguson (arrived at 12:37), Harvey, Klindt * (arrived at 12;37)
Layton, and Vogel
Absent: Berry, Brown, Oetting, and Pope
A quorum was not present until Councilman Dan Klindt arrived at 12:37 P.M.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
BILLS INTRODUCED:
2006 -148 - Assistant Community Director Charles Lansford stated he will be the staff
person to present both this bill and 2006 -155.
2006 -149 - Several questions were asked regarding whether the money for the I.T.
construction project had been appropriated or approved to be spent on the whole project.
Mayor John Landwehr asked Councilman Brian Crane and City Administrator Steve
Rasmussen to discuss the history of what the Council believed the project would entail and
work out those issues. Councilman Brian Crane stated this original contract being
considered by this bill is all right but he and some of the other Council members stated
they have issues with the furniture part of the project.
*Councilman Dan Klindt arrived at this point in the meeting (12 :37 P.M.)
2006 -150 and 2005 -152 - Councilman Kenneth Ferguson recommended deferring the issue
and have another meeting of some kind to discuss it further. City Administrator Steve
Rasmussen stated he will have a one -page matrix done today and get it to the Council
before Monday night's meeting.
