AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT FOR
ENGINEERING SERVICES R'ITH T & M ASSOCIATES — CARTERET
POND RENOVATIONS, SUPPLEMENTAL CONTRACT
ADAUNISTRATION AND INSPECTION SERVICES
AVIIEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of professional engineering
services for Supplemental Contract Administration and Inspection Phase Services
related to the Carteret Park Pond Renovations; and
,
WHEREAS, T & M Associates, 1 I Tindall Road, Middletown, NJ 07748, possesses the
requisite experience and expertise to provide said services; and
WHEREAS, T &M Associates has submitted a proposal to provide said services at a
total cost not to exceed $5,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and the Council have reviewed said proposal; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be available
for said purpose.
NON, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the Council of the
Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
L The proposal from T & M Associates for the above described engineering
services, as outlined in T & M's proposal dated June 19, 2007, at a total cost not
to exceed $5,000.00 is hereby approved;
2. This action is approved as an award of a professional services contract pursuant .
to Ilse Borough's Fair and Open Process as provided for and in accordance with
applicable law.
3. A copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the Borough's Purchasing Department
and T & M Associates.

As per Resolution Number 07 -170
THE CONTRACTOR does hereby agree to perform the following:
PROFESSIONAL SERVICE CONTRACT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES
FOR CARTERET POND RENOVATION AND SUPPLEMENTAL CONTRACT
ADMINISTRATION AND INSPECTION SERVICES.
NOT TO EXCEED $ 5,000.00
According to the terms set forth in the Resolution.
THE BOROUGH does hereby agree to pay the Contractor the sum set forth in
Resolution.
