APPROVING SICK -TIDIE BUYBACK FOR DEPARTMENT HEADS AND
ADDUSTRATIVE PERSONNEL
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret presently "buys -back" from its employees,
pursuant to the provisions of collective bargaining agreements, their unused sick time in
to provide for increased productivity, efficiency, and ultimate savings for the Borough;
and
WHEREAS, the Borough desires to implement the same program for Department Heads
and Administrative Personnel. '
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret as follows:
That the sick time buy -back program currently in place for other
municipal employees is henceforth fully applicable to all Department
Heads and Administrative Personnel.
Adopted this 1st day of November, 2007
