Home My Public Portal About20120529 work sessionCOUNCIL WORK SESSION MAY 29, 2012 1 CALL TO ORDER The May 29, 2012, Council Work Session was convened at 5:30 P.M. by Mayor Eric Struemph. ATTENDANCE The following Council Members were present: Present: Bray, Carroll, Henry, Luebbert, Mihalovich, Pope, Prather, Schulte, Scrivner, and Weber Absent: None A quorum was present. DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS A. Status Report of Conference Center City Administrator Nathan Nickolaus gave a detailed Power Point presentation outlining the history of the conference center issue and answered questions asked by the Mayor and Council Members. *Councilman Bryan Pope left the meeting at 7:20 P.M. due to a prior commitment. At the conclusion of the presentation, Mayor Eric Struemph and the several Council Members indicated they would like the staff to proceed with putting together an RFP to bring back before the Council for review within the next six weeks. Mayor Eric Struemph stated he would be willing to call as many special Council Meetings or work sessions as necessary to get the issue moving. ADJOURNMENT The meeting adjourned at 7:30 P.M.
