CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION, SEPTEMBER 24, 2012
CALL TO ORDER
The September 24, 2012, City Council Work Session was convened at 5:30 P.M. by
Mayor Eric Struemph.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Bray, Carroll, Luebbert, Mihalevich, Pope, Prather, and Schulte
Absent: Henry, Scrivner, and Weber
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Conference Center RFP / RFI:
City Administrator Nathan Nickolaus made a presentation of the proposed document
which he explained was more like a Request For Information (RFI) than a Request For
Proposals (RFP).
A lengthy discussion and Q &A period was held, after which Mayor Struemph suggested
that further work sessions be scheduled so the Council can have plenty of time to
present their concerns, wishes, and to provide staff with specific direction about how
they wish this document to be written before sending it out to potential proposers /
bidders.
No actions were taken on the matter at this time.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting adjourned at 7:10 P.M.
