SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Chamber of Commerce has submitted the attached requests and applications pertaining to Winter
Carnival 2020, which is to be held from Friday, January 24 through Sunday, February 2, 2020. The Chief
of Police, Fire Chief, Parks and Recreation Director and Street Superintendent have received the information
for this event.
The McCall Area Chamber of Commerce has provided the following attached information:

* Fireworks Display Application
For Information:
* General Event Plan, Schedule and Layout
* Children’s Torchlight Parade Route
* Mardi Gras Parade Route
Other Items Provided to the City Clerk’s Office (not Attached):
* Certificate of Liability Insurance, Naming the City as Additional Insured
* Catering Permit Applications for the Beer Garden and Various Other Events during the Carnival
* ITD Approval for the Torchlight and Mardi Gras Parades
* Parks Reservation Applications for the Use of Legacy Park for Various Carnival Events
* Road Closure Request for East Lake Street
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the fireworks display permit for Winter Carnival 2020 and authorize the Mayor to sign all
necessary documents.
