SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The lease granted by the City of McCall to the Central Idaho Historical Museum (CIHM) for use of the former Southern Idaho Timber Protective Association (SITPA) site expires in October,
2013. Staff is requesting direction from the City Council concerning the future of this lease and the potential changes in the degree of the City’s involvement in the operation and
management of the property. Costs associated with the site management, deed restrictions from State of Idaho and general site and program options will be discussed. The current lease
is attached, and additional information will be provided to the Council.
Following this Council work session, staff anticipates an additional work session with the members of the CIHM Board.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Provide direction to staff regarding actions related to lease renewal for the Central Idaho Historical Museum site.
