SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Staff has contacted the Idaho Department of Commerce and Horrocks Engineering to begin the work related to contract development for the Idaho Community Development Block Grant funding
for the Third Street Corridor Revitalization project. A contract between the City of McCall and Department of Commerce will be required so that the awarded block grant funds may be
obligated for the project. Several documents are required for contract preparation, including an Environmental Assessment, completion of an Environmental Review Record (ERR), revised
scope of work and budget, and CDBG Design Professional contract with Horrocks Engineering. (See attachment for a description of Environmental Review procedures). The ERR and Environmental
Assessment will be completed by the CDBG Block Grant Administrator and reviewed by the City Engineer, requires the Mayor’s signature, and requires public notice. Once the final contract
is prepared by the Department of Commerce, it will be provided to the Council for review and approval at a future meeting.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Authorize the Mayor to sign all documents necessary for contract preparation for the ICDBG Third Street Corridor Revitalization Project.
