SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Sharlie Fest 2012 is a ticketed concert event featuring live local and national acts to be featured on a main stage located inside the Manchester Ice and Event Centre. This event will
offer the many tourists and locals another venue to spend their Fourth of July evening. Sharlie Fest 2012 is designed to assist the City of McCall in accommodating the large number
of tourists who choose McCall as their getaway destination. Sharlie Fest is scheduled from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m on the evening of Wednesday, July 4th, with entrance being allowed as early
as 9 p.m. Sharlie Fest is a ticketed event and available to people 18 years of age and older.
The attached event plan covers a security plan and alcohol control plan. Also attached are a security plan, floor plan of the event, and a request to waive the noise ordinance. All attachments
were submitted by the Sharlie Fest Event organizers, Nightology. The Chief of Police has reviewed the event plan.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the request to waive the noise ordinance from 10:00 pm until 2:00 am on July 4, 2012.
