ORDINANCE NO. 62-2015
AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE FIXING THE ANNUAL COMPENSATION OF ALL
ELECTED CITY OFFICERS FOR 2016
WHEREAS, Indiana Code 364-7-2 requires Common Council of the City of Richmond Indiana, to fix
the annual compensation of all elected city officers by ordinance on or before December
31; and
WHEREAS, Salaries cannot be changed in the year for which they are fixed; and
WHEREAS, Salaries cannot be lowered beyond the amount set in the previous year.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that the
City's elected officials be compensated in the following sums for the calendar year 2015: to wit:
Mayor
Clerk
President of Common Council
Chairman of RP&L
Members of Common Council (8)
Members of RP&L Board (8)

In addition to the above salaries, the Mayor and Clerk, as full-time city employees, shall also be
entitled to the same fringe benefits as other full-time city employees as set forth within the City of
Richmond Personnel Policy Manual.
Passed and adopted this day of 2015, by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana.
