SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Gene Drabinski has been appointed the Interim City Manager, effective August 4, 2012 contingent on the
Council’s confirmation. Mr. Drabinski is an active member of the community with considerable amount
of management experience. He has been on the Planning & Zoning Commission for several years, and has
been the Chairman of the Local Option Tax Commission this year. Staff recommends that the Council
confirm the appointment of Gene Drabinski as Interim City Manager.
Further, staff requests the opportunity to discuss expectations and goals for the Interim City Manager.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
1. Confirm the appointment of Gene Drabinski as interim City Manager effective August 4, 2012.
2. Discuss expectations and goals for the Interim City Manager.
