CALL TO ORDER
The June 2, 2011, City Council "Brown Bagel" Meeting was convened at 7:30 A.M. by
Mayor Eric Struemph.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present:
Present: Bray, Harvey, Koon, Luebbert, Pope, Schulte, and Scrivner
Absent: Carroll, Griffith, and Weber
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Bill 2011 -22:
Councilman Bryan Pope asked for research into whether or not the Federal government
actually withholds funding if a City does not cover losses of the Transit system, and asked
questions of Finance Director Steve Schlueter regarding transit funds.
Missouri River Flooding:
City Counselor Nathan Nickolaus explained briefly information which the City is receiving
from the Corps of Engineers regarding imminent flooding of the Missouri River. Several
questions were asked, and City Engineer Matt Morasch will be making a more detailed
presentation regarding this on Monday night.
