AUTHORIZING BIDS /QUOTES FOR VARIOUS PROJECTS AND ITEMS
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is desirous of advertising for bids/or quotes for the
following projects and items:
Annual Sewer Services Contract
2011 Road Improvement Program
Business Area Parking — Striping
Police Vehicles
Town Center Parking Improvements
Old Library/School House Improvements
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey m follows:
1. That the appropriate Borough Officials are hereby authorized to prepare bid
specifications and/or quotes and contract documents and to advertise for the
receipt of bids or quotes and contract documents and to advertise for the
receipt of bids or quotes for the above listed projects and items.
2. That a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the Purchasing Agent and the
Borough Engineer.
Adopted this 24" day of March, 2011 and
certified as a true copy of the original on
March 25 2011.
