CALL TO ORDER
The June 16, 2011, City Council "Brown Bagel" Meeting was convened at 7:33 A.M. by
Mayor Eric Struemph.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present:
Present: Bray, Carroll (arrived at 7:43 A.M.), Griffith, Koon, Luebbert, Pope
(arrived at 7:38 A.M.), Scrivner, and Weber
Absent: Harvey and Schulte,
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Mayor Eric Struemph asked the summer interns present to introduce themselves. Human
Resources Director Gail Strope stated they will also be attending the meeting on Monday
night.
Bill 2011 -23 (Elmerine neighborhood curb, gutter, and sidewalk project):
Questions were asked regarding the timing and cost of this project if this bill does not pass
on Monday night. Staff answered that the project would most likely be performed in next
year's capital improvements projects if this bill expediting it does not pass. Councilman
Bryan Pope asked staff to provide the Council with information on Monday night regarding
the difference in cost if the City performs both the design and inspection services in- house.
