SUMMARY STATEMENT:
At the July 26, 2012 City Council Meeting is was identified that Title 4 of the McCall City Code is outdated and needs to be re-written. The McCall City code currently does not have
any standard regarding the issuance of business licenses to taxicabs. At the September 13, 2012 City Council Meeting it was identified by staff and Council that there was a need to
establish City Code to regulate how taxicab licenses are issued.
The purpose of this work session is for the Council to review a recommended code amendment that will establish regulations for taxicab licenses. Attached is the draft ordinance for Council
review. The draft ordinance has been reviewed by the City Attorney.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Review the draft ordinance to regulate taxicab licensing.
