Pope,'Commissioner Curtis H. Dodson, Commissioner J. R. Fountain, D. Town Clerk Mrs. Martha Whittaker, Mrs. Sarah Dickerson and Mr. William LaPorte were in attendance. Minutes of the regular meeting held on November 8, 1958, of the Special Meeting held on November 22, 1958 and of the Special Meeting held'on December 5, 1958 were read and all were approved and adopted. The Mayor read the proposed resolution .430 recommend- ing and adopting the scbedule of percentages to be paid by the Water Fund for general expenses of the Town for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1958 and ending September 30, 1959. Mr. Koch made a motion that Resolution ASO be ap- proved'and adopted and that a copy of said resolution be made a part of these minutes. Mr. Dodson seconded the motion and it carried unanimously. Mayor Lindsay read the proposed RESOLUTION # 481 authorizing the transfer of $ 6,527.32 from the Depreciation Reserve Savings Account to the General Fund to be used for Street & Road Construction and Repair. Mr. Pope moved that Resolution if 481 be approved and adopted and that a copy of said resolution be made a part of these minutes. Mr. Dodson seconded and the motion carried unanimously. J.Raleigh Fountain reported bank balances on November 30, 1958 as 2xHmai follows: General Account 1 $ 23,222.93 Water Account 11,314.16 Depreciation Reserve Account 856.87 it ?I Savings $,000.00 Payments during the months of October and November 1958 from the General Fund were on Checks # 617 through # 679 an'd totaled $ 5,881.63. Payments during the months of October and November, 1958 from the Water Fund were on checks # 162 througsh # 167 and totaled $ 1,977.28. All of the above payments were unanimously approved. (Copies o Resolutions # 480 and 481 follow) RESOLUTION # 450 Passed, approved and adopted at the Regular Commission Meeting held on Dec. 13, 1958. RESOLVED that hhe following schedule of percehtages shall be paid by the WATER DEPARTMENT from the Water Account for the fiscal year: October 1, 1958 through September 30, 1959. 1) Bookkeeping Service of total 2) Legal and Professional: Annual Audit 1 /10 of total Attorneys 1 /10 of retainer fee 3) Postage, Printing & Stationery - Actual 4) Salaries: Roy Cowart 1/20 of total Raleigh Fountain 1 /10 of total Evelyn Fountain 1/4 of total 5) OASI TAX - 2 °fa of #4 for Oct.,Nov., and Dec., 1955 210 of #4 for Jan. through Sept., 1959 6) Secretarial Service - Actual 7) Car Use: Rental - 1/20 of car used by Roy Cowart Gas a4 Oil- 1/20 of J of Police cars gas. Above percentages and amounts to be paid by the Water Fund during the fiscal year October 1, 1950 through September 30, 1959. ATTEST: s JT. e' h Fountain, D.Town Clerk G vi� Page 2 (Commission Meeting - Dec. 13, 1958) RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS FROM THE DEPRECIATION RESERVE ACCOUNT TO THE GENERAL ACCOUNT. RESOLUTION NUMBER 4$1 WHEREAS, the audit records of the TOWN OF GULF STREAM, FLORIDA show the sum of eight thousand eight hundred fifty six dollars and eighty seven cents ( $ 8,856.87) in the Depreciation Reserve Fund and in savings for the Depreciation Reserve Fund; and WHEREAS, the sum of $ 3,470.35 is the total accrued depreciation on the Town's 1951 Dodge truck; and WHEREAS, the sum of $ 3,056.97 is the accrued depreciation on the Town's Oldsmobile sedan which has now been sold; and WHEREAS, neither of these vehicles will have to be replaced, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the sum of $ 6,527.32 be transfered to the General Fund from the Depreciation Reserve Fund and the Depreciation Reserve Savings, NOT to be a loan from the. Mr. Koch made a motion that the Town purchase the new radio and converter, Mr. Dodson seconded the motion and it carried unanimously. Mr. Dodson made a motion that the Town pay Ernest Glass $75.00 as his annual bonus for 1958. Mr. Pope seconded and the motion carried unanimously. Mayor Lindsay announced that Rimes & IIimes bad com- pleted their annual audit of the Town *s books and records. IIe asked the Commissioners to please study the report ,care- fully. Mr. Pope made a motion that the bill of $850.00 from IIimes & IIimes for the annual audit be paid. Mr. Dodson seconded the motion and it carried unanimously. Mayor Lindsay read the letter dated December 3, 1958 from Waterway Realty Corporation signed by IIenry V. Pope, President. Mayor Lindsay opened the meeting for general dis- cussion. The Commissioners answered the questions of Mrs. IfAttaker and Mrs. Dickenson. There being no further business the commissioners adjourned. •.
