SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Attached is a Memorandum of Understanding between the City of McCall Police Department and the City of Cascade Police Department. This Memorandum of Understanding grants authority to
officers in each agency to exercise peace officer authority in the jurisdiction of the other agency, for mutual aid. Liability is assumed by the employing agency.
This document renews the existing Memorandum of Understanding between McCall Police Department and Cascade Police Department entered into in 2008, which expires in January 2012. The
only change to this agreement is it is now an indefinite agreement unless terminated by either party.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the Memorandum of Understanding and authorize the Mayor to sign.
