CALL TO ORDER
The July 28, 2011, City Council "Brown Bagel" Meeting was convened at 7:30 A.M. by
Mayor Eric Struemph.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present:
Present: Bray, Carroll Harvey, Koon, Luebbert, Schulte, and Weber
Absent: Pope, Scrivner, and Griffith
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Bill 2011 -44 (Extending liquor licenses to outdoor areas) - Several questions were
asked regarding this. A typographical error to the bill was pointed out. Staff indicated they
would correct that and distribute a substitute bill to the Council before Monday night's
meeting.
Bill 2011 -51 (Reauthorization of festival districts) - A lengthy discussion was held
regarding this issue. Councilwoman Carrie Carroll stated she would like to offer a substitute
bill after she has time to discuss with the downtown merchants and staff. Councilman Ralph
Bray stated he would also like to see some amendments made to the bill before it is voted
on.

The meeting adjourned at 8:05 A.M.
