SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Golf Advisory Committee (GAC) and staff recommend to the City Council that golf rates for the 2013 season remain the same as last season. The GAC and staff feel that there is no
need for any changes and the FY13 Budget is based on those rates to operate the coming season. A couple of the golf courses in the area are reducing rates to try and draw more rounds
of golf. Staff feels that the rates fit all players needs and can remain competetive. By setting the rates now the proshop will be able to sell season passes now as a number of people
like to buy them as gifts for Christmas.
Attached is the current golf rates.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the Golf Advisory Committee and staff’s recommendation to maintain the current golf rates for 2013.
