CALL TO ORDER
The August 11, 2011, City Council "Brown Bagel" Meeting was convened at 7:30 A.M. by
President Pro Tempore Dave Griffith in the absence of Mayor Eric Struemph.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present:
Present: Bray, Carroll, Griffith, Harvey, Koon, Luebbert, Pope, Schulte, and
Scrivner
Absent: Weber
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Committee reports:
Councilman Ralph Bray will be making a report Monday night on the Historic Preservation
Commission meeting.
Announcements:
Councilman Rich Koon made announcements about the proposed budget workshop
schedule, and stated those dates will be sent out to the Mayor and Council and public
shortly. He also stated that the procedure used in the past for placing items on the "parking
lot" will be used again this year unless Council decides to change it.
Bill 2011 -51 (Reauthorization of festival districts) -A substitute bill was distributed, and
Councilwoman Carrie Carroll stated there is one correction which should be made to the
substitute. The title of the permit should be changed to "Temporary Outdoor Consumption"
permit. A corrected substitute will be distributed before Monday night.

The meeting adjourned at 7:50 A.M.
