SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The City of McCall submitted an application for Idaho Community Development Block Grant funding on November 18, 2011 for the Third Street Improvement Project. The project cost estimate
is attached, and identifies the anticipated project expenditures as well as the revenue sources.
Department of Commerce staff and the Economic Advisory Council reviewed the application and determined that it meets the requirements to move to the next stage of state review. DOC has
requested additional information in an “addendum” format (see attached).
In order to increase the competitiveness of the application, the DOC staff has recommended that the City determine if additional local sources of funding might be dedicated to the project.
See attached memo for options for additional local funding.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
1. Determine whether additional local funding should be sought for the project and direct staff to seek that funding.
2. Authorize the Mayor to sign any necessary documents for the ICDBG project addendum submission.
