SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Staff and the Golf Advisory Committee (GAC) have discussed the rates for the upcoming 2012 season. Their recommendation to Council is to leave most of the rates the same as the 2011
season with three changes.
Add a New Season Pass after 2:00 PM for $300.00
Drop the 9 hole rate on Friday – Sunday & Holidays from $34.00 to $29.00 to be competitive with other courses.
Drop Daily Cart trail fee from $21 to $15 to be competitive. The GAC members felt that a number of people were not paying when they brought their own cart for tournaments because the
cost was so much higher than they paid elsewhere. Plus it is hard to police.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
1. Conduct the Public Hearing on adding a new fee to the Golf Rates.
2. Adopt Resolution 12-06 establishing the golf rates for the 2012 season and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
