SUMMARY STATEMENT:
A Variance (VAR) application has been submitted to reduce the fifty-foot (50ft.) setback of the Shoreline and River Environs Zone and front property setback from Chula Road. A public
hearing was held at the July 12, 2011 McCall Area Planning & Zoning Commission meeting, at which time the Commission recommended VAR-11-01 for approval by the City Council. The City
Council considered the application on October 6, 2011, where Council remanded the application to the Commission given new information presented. On January 10, 2012, the Commission
held another public hearing, re-considered VAR-11-01, and recommended the application for approval to City Council.
Since the Council’s October 6, 2011 review of VAR-11-01, the following new information has been presented by the applicant:
Formally surveyed site plan
Revised proposed setback distances from the Chula Road public right-of-way
Identified locations and preliminary approval for primary septic and replacement drainfield
The complete land use application is available for review during normal business hours at McCall City Hall, 216 E. Park Street, McCall, ID 83638.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve VAR-11-01 subject to the Findings and Conclusions and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
