SUMMARY STATEMENT:
A Variance application has been submitted to reduce the fifty-foot (50 ft.) setback of the Shoreline and River Environs Zone in order to facilitate construction of a 168 sq. ft. building
on the east abutment of the existing dam structure to house mechanical dam control equipment.
A public hearing was held at the March 6, 2012 McCall Area Planning & Zoning Commission meeting, and the Commission recommended VAR-12-01 for approval by City Council with a second public
hearing.
The applicant also submitted Design Review (DR-12-03) and Scenic Route (SR-12-01) applications for the design of the proposed structure and placement within the Scenic Route. Both of
these applications were approved by the McCall Area Planning and Zoning Commission on March 6, 2012.
The complete land use file is available for review during normal working hours in the Community Development Department located at the McCall City Hall, 216 East Park Street, McCall,
Idaho 83638.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve VAR-12-01 subject to the Findings and Conclusions and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
