SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Peter Sinclair is purchasing Hangar 522, one of the newer “East Hangar Project” hangars, from Northfork properties. Attached are the application for non-commercial lease and the lease
assignment documents. Mr. Sinclair is the owner of a Lancair airplane N# 398S as verified by the FAA data base and will store this aircraft in the hangar. He frequently flies to the
McCall Airport and owns a home in the community. Also attached are the original lease and the assignment documents for hangar 522.
The lease is paid current. The current annual lease rate is $0.253 per square foot, which equals $382.54 per annum. Upon assignment, the annual lease rate will increase to $0.361 per
square foot, which equals $545.83 per annum. The new lease rate will apply as of May 1, 2012. A portion of the $250 administrative fee will be applied to the increased lease payment
due to the City for the remaining five months of this fiscal year.
The Airport Advisory Committee reviewed and recommended approval of this lease transfer at their April 5, 2012 meeting.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the lease assignment and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
