SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The McCall Parks and Recreation Department is requesting that a 4% convenience fee for recreation program online payments be added to the recreation program fee schedule. Staff requests
this additional fee as a means to cover the costs associated with credit card use by patrons and not create a financial burden on the department. It is the intent of our current fee
structure to recover costs associated with providing recreation programs. On-line payment will be a choice for registrants; registration at City Hall will still be an option. On-line
registration will lessen the work load on staff providing more time for direct services.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
1. Conduct the Public Hearing.
2. Adopt Resolution #12-09, amending current recreation fees to include a 4% convenience fee for recreation program online payments.
