Attached is an email Overnight Parking Permit Confirmation for License Plate# 6FVW373 and #6ZAP630. While printing the permits, I realized that the permits did not show the license plate number or any other identifying information. I tried to keep the permits in the order that I purchase them, but accidentally switched them as 1 was placing them in the cars. I place the permit for my car (grey Acura SUV 6FVW373) In my father's car (white Toyota SW 6ZAP630) and vice versa, resulting in both cars being ticketed. His citation number is TC0300702. The two cars were parked approximately 40 feet away from each other on the same street. The citations state that the ticketing officer took photographs which should show that both cars had a permit, but for the wrong car. While the error is on me for switching the physical permits, there was definitely a lot of room for error since the two permits (attached in this letter) are nearly indistinguishable from one another.
