CALL TO ORDER
The December 15, 2011, City Council "Brown Bagel" Meeting was convened at 7:30 A.M.
by Mayor Eric Struemph.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Bray, Carroll, Griffith, Harvey, Koon, Pope, Schulte, Scrivner, and
Weber
Arrived after meeting was convened: Luebbert (7:33 A.M.)
Absent: None
A quorum was present when the meeting convened.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
BILLS:
2011 -125 (Amending NIP Code)
Discussion was held regarding the process for people paying their share. Councilman Bob
Scrivner decided to pull the bill, but Interim City Administrator Nathan Nickolaus suggested
rather than pulling it, he might consider issuing a substitute bill which would place a
moratorium on further petitions until the Council finishes its work on this issue.
2011 -121 (Wastewater Rate Base Fees)
Interim City Counselor Drew Hilpert stated there will be a substitute bill on this which will
reduce the increase from seventy -five cents to fifty cents.
