AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE FIXING THE ANNUAL COMPENSATION
OF ALL ELECTED CITY OFFICERS FOR 2007
WHEREAS, Indiana Code 34-4-7-2 requires Common Council of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, to fix the annual compensation of all elected city
officers by ordinance; and
WHEREAS, this ordinance will have been published two times in the Palladium -Item
newspaper, Richmond, Indiana, with the first such publication taking place
Sept. 16th, 2006 and the second such publication taking place Sept. 23rd,
2006; and
WHEREAS, such first publication will have taken place at least 30 days before final
passage hereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, that the City's elected officials be compensated in the following sums for the
calendar year 2007, to wit:
Mayor
Clerk
President of Common Council
Chairman of RP&L
Members of Common Council (8)
Members of RP&L Board (8)
ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION

In addition to the above salaries, the Mayor and Clerk, as full-time city
employees, shall also be entitled to the same fringe benefits as other full-time city
employees as set forth within the City of Richmond Personnel Policy Manual.
