WHEREAS, sixty-three (631
residents directly affected by the
water main protect each contri-
buted 1750 towards the construc-
tion of the water main and serv-
ice taps fo the main and
WHEREAS, in Docket ~No.
FCU-82.1 dated June 30, 1983, the
Iowa Stole Gafnmerce Commis•
lion ordered The Davenport
Water Company to refund fo the
Town of Riverdole 533,567.82 plus
9% per annum intereisf from
November 8, 1978, and
WHEREAS,- the Town Coun•
cil of the town of Riverdale has
agreed that the residents who
contributed 5750 towards the con-
struction of the water main will
receive a refund plus interest.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT
RESOLVED, by the. Town Coun-
cil of the Town of Riverdale that
the following sholi be OdOPted of:
the Water Main PoriacT Refund
Distribution Policy.
1. REFUND CALCULATION;
Each qualifying resident will re•
ceive a refund based on the fol-
lowing calculations: Initial depos-
it, 5750.00; Minus portion of de•
posit used for tap, curb box and
shutoff valve, 5320.00; Portion of
deposit used for main construc-
tion, 530.00; Plus 994 par annum

the City Attorney, McDonald, Sto-
nebraker and Cepican.

Every resident who feels they
are eligible far a refund must file
an Appllcafion for Water Main
Deposit Refund with the law firm
of Mcbonold, Stonabroker and
Cepicon. Cifv records and other
supporting 'documents will be
used to confirm validity of ap-
pllcofions 16r refund.
