RECOMMENDATION:
The City Counci l is requested to receive and file the Transportation and Public Safety
Commission (C ommission) actions from their regu la r meeting of Aug us t 14, 2019 .
BACKGROUND :
On August 14, 2019 th e Commission held their regular ly schedu led meeting .
ANALYSIS :
The follow ing is a su m mary of actions taken at the August 14, 2019 meeting :

2 . CEREMO NIAL MATTERS
The Commiss io n proceeded with the annual reo rganization of the Commission by
appointing Commissioner Nimri as Chairman and Comm issioner Stoll as V ice-
Chairman for a one-year term .

3 . CONSENT CALENDAR
The Commission approved the minutes of the June 12 , 2019 meeting .
4 . NEW BUSINESS
Public Safety Supervisor, Bryan Arii z um i, provi ded an overv iew of parki ng c itation
appeal procedures.
CITY STRATEGIC GOALS:
Reviewing the Transportation and Public Safety Commission Actions furthers the City's
Strateg ic Goal of Citizen Education and Communication .
FISCAL IMPACT:
This item does not have an impact on the Fiscal Year 2019-20 City Budget.
