PROCEDURE TO ADDRESS CITY COUNCIL: If you wish to address the City Council,

unless rem oved f or f urther discussion. If members of the City Council or persons in
the audience wish to discuss any m atters listed on the Consent Calendar, please
address them at this tim e.
Recomm endation: Approve Item s A through F per recommendations.
A. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The City Council is requested to review and approve:
1. Minutes of the Special City Council Meeting of August 6, 2019; and
2. Minutes of the Regular City Council Meeting of August 6, 2019.
Recommendation: Approve.
B. FINAL SUBDIVISION MAP APPROVAL FOR PARCEL MAP NO. 81341, A FLAG
LOT SUBDIVISION AT 5239 ALESSANDRO STREET
City Council’s approval of the final map will allow the developer to obtain the
building permits and start the construction of a new single -family house on each
new parcel.
Recommendation:
1. Review and approve the final subdivision map for Parcel Map No. 81341; and
2. Authorize the City Clerk to certify Parcel Map No. 81341.
C. AGREEMENT FOR PRINTING AND MAILING SERVICES
City Council’s approval of the printing and maili ng services agreement will ensure
fixed printing costs and service continuity for the CONNECT and
RecCONNECT’s expedited production and distribution needs.
Recommendation: Authorize the City Manager to execute a three -
year professional services agreement with
Axiom Designs & Printing to print and
coordinate the mailing of CONNECT and
RecCONNECT at a cost not to exceed
$161,055.

D. VISA CARD REPORT
The City Council is requested to review, receive and file the Visa Card Report.
Recommendation: Receive and file.
E. ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION NO. 19 -5420 APPROVING PAYMENT OF BILLS
FOR FISCAL YEAR 2018-19
The City Council is requested to adopt Resolution No. 19-5420 authorizing the
payment of bills.
Recommendation: Adopt Resolution No. 19-5420.
F. ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION NO. 19 -5421 APPROVING PAYMENT OF BILLS
FOR FISCAL YEAR 2019-20
The City Council is requested to adopt Resolution No. 19-5421 authorizing the
payment of bills.
Recommendation: Adopt Resolution No. 19-5421.
8. PUBLIC HEARING
A. CONTINUE THE PUBLIC HEARING FOR ORDINANCE NO. 19-1036
AMENDING TITLE 9 (ZONING REGULATIONS), CHAPTER 1 OF THE TEMPLE
CITY MUNICIPAL CODE, ADOPTING THE TEMPLE CITY ZONING MAP,
REPEALING THE DOWNTOWN SPECIFIC PLAN, AND ADOPTING AN
ADDENDUM TO THE TEMPLE CITY MID-CENTURY GENERAL PLAN UPDATE
AND CROSSROADS SPECIFIC PLAN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT
The City Council is requested to continue the public hearing for this item until the
City Council’s regular meeting of September 17, 2019.

UNDERSTANDING

with the San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments for participation in the
regional Coyote Management Implementation Plan.

B. CONSIDERATION OF AN INVITATION TO VISIT TEMPLE CITY’S SISTER CITY
HUALIEN COUNTY
The Magistrate of Hualien County has extended an invitation to City
representatives to visit and experience Hualien County this November as a way to
strengthen the friendship between the sister cities.

Recommendation: Consider the request and give direction to staff
regarding the potential visit by City of Temple
City officials to the City’s sister city Hualien
County, Taiwan this November.
